1. ACROSEED Group Information Security Basic Policy

The ACROSEED Group strives to carefully handle the information and assets entrusted to us by our clients so that our professional services may continue to be trusted and valued for many years to come, while also responding to new and evolving client needs.

To this end, we comply with all applicable laws and regulations and establish an Information Security Management System to protect valuable information belonging to both our company and our clients from various threats, while continuously improving our security practices.

2. Privacy Policy of ACROSEED Immigration Lawyer's Office

Since its establishment in 1986, ACROSEED Immigration Lawyer's Office has recognized the importance of personal information and has exercised the utmost care in its management and handling. We regard the protection and proper use of personal information as one of our most important corporate responsibilities. In today’s highly advanced information-oriented society, we recognize the need to treat personal information protection with even greater seriousness. Accordingly, we hereby declare our Privacy Policy and commit to its implementation and continuous maintenance.


Collection, Use, and Provision of Personal Information

When collecting personal information, we clearly state the purpose of collection and obtain the individual’s consent. Personal information will be used strictly within the scope of the consent obtained. We will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties without the individual’s consent, except in the following cases:

  1. When outsourcing the storage or computer processing of personal information to contractors under confidentiality agreements
  2. When providing personal information to financial institutions within the scope necessary to verify credit card validity or bank account information
  3. When required by laws or regulations, or by orders from governmental authorities

Proper Management and Security of Personal Information

We manage personal information appropriately and strictly. We implement information security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage of personal information, and regularly audit their effectiveness. We also provide appropriate education and training to employees who handle personal information.


Compliance with Laws and Regulations

ACROSEED complies with all laws, regulations, ordinances, and relevant governmental guidelines related to personal information protection.


Continuous Improvement of Personal Information Protection System

We conduct periodic audits of ACROSEED’s personal information protection system. In addition, we continuously review and improve our system in response to changes in business operations, social conditions, and advances in information technology.

We provide education to ensure that all employees are fully aware of and comply with this policy.

3. Handling of Personal Information by ACROSEED Immigration Lawyer's Office


Use of Personal Information Held by Our Office

We use the personal information we hold within the scope of the following purposes. This does not apply where exceptions are permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws.

  • Responding to inquiries and applications
  • Sending requested materials
  • Providing information and notifications regarding seminars, events, and new services
  • Communicating with business partners and their representatives
  • Managing contractual relationships with business partners
  • Verifying identity for disclosure or other requests
  • Employment (including recruitment) and personnel management
  • Job placement and career-related information services based on licensed employment placement services

Use of Personal Information Entrusted by Business Partners

Personal information entrusted to us by business partners will be used, in accordance with contractual agreements, solely for the purpose of properly performing entrusted services.

  • Communications regarding company briefings, selection processes, and job offer notifications for applicants
  • Payroll calculation and personnel management for partner employees
  • Implementation of assessments and preparation of post-assessment reports
  • Communication and confirmation related to employee housing contracts, renewals, and terminations

Personal information will be retained only for the period necessary to achieve its intended purpose and will be deleted or disposed of appropriately, except where retention is required by law.


Use of Personal Information Beyond Stated Purposes

If we intend to use personal information beyond the scope of the originally stated purpose, we will notify the individual in advance and obtain consent, except where permitted by law.


Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

  • With the individual’s consent
  • As required by law
  • When necessary to protect life, body, or property and consent cannot be readily obtained
  • When particularly necessary for public health improvement or the sound development of children
  • When cooperation with national or local government authorities is required and obtaining consent may impede official duties

Outsourcing of Personal Information Handling

We may outsource the handling of personal information to contractors who meet our standards for personal information protection and who have entered into confidentiality agreements.

Upon request from the individual and when deemed reasonable, we accept requests for notification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction, or deletion of personal information. Requests may be submitted by email, phone, or mail to the contact below. Please note that disclosure may be denied in the following cases:

  • When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or rights of the individual or others
  • When disclosure may hinder proper business operations
  • When disclosure would violate other laws or regulations
